Martinborough Wine Tour

A personal guide chauffeurs guests around a handful of boutique wineries near Wharekauhau, in a region international experts rank among New Zealand's finest for wine growing, its Pinot Noir spoken of alongside Burgundy's best. The tour goes behind the scenes, introducing guests to the winemakers themselves rather than just their tasting rooms. Lunch is included, either at a vineyard café or in the village, where there is time to browse the boutique shops. The day departs the lodge at ten in the morning and returns by around four in the afternoon.
