Wilderness Chitabe Lediba – Night Drives
After-dark drives through Chitabe's bushveld tracking nocturnal wildlife
Skip to product information
Once the sun sets, guides at Chitabe Lediba take guests out by vehicle to search for animals rarely seen in daylight. Infra-red spotlights sweep the bushveld for aardvark, civets, genets, bushbabies and owls. Predators behave differently at night: rather than a lion dozing in the shade, a drive might catch a pride rousing itself to hunt and moving off into the bush. The Okavango Delta setting around Chitabe means sightings vary by season and water levels. It is a chance to see a side of the reserve that daytime game drives miss entirely.
