Wilderness Mokete – Game Drives

Wilderness Mokete runs game drives through the Mababe Private Wilderness Area, either twice daily or as one extended outing, whichever guests prefer. The Mababe marsh draws large numbers of wildlife, including sizeable herds of zebra and buffalo, along with the predators that trail them, often hunting in daylight. Birdlife across the area is varied and plentiful. Guides read the marsh's movements to position vehicles where the action is likely, rather than simply driving in hope. Each drive covers open ground rather than dense bush, giving clear sightlines across the plains. It is a straightforward way to see the Mababe ecosystem at its most active.
