Helicopter Safari (Surcharge)

A helicopter flight over the Okavango Delta, offered as a surcharge activity at Xigera. From the air, the seasonal channels, floodplains and palm islands of the Delta unfold as a single connected pattern, best appreciated from height rather than ground level. Guests can choose a door-off configuration for unobstructed photography, or arrange a champagne landing on one of the Delta's hidden palm islands. It pairs naturally with the lodge's other air-based offering, scenic helicopter flights, giving a different vantage point on terrain otherwise covered by mokoro, boat or game drive.
