Six suite styles, one Monot address, steps from Beirut's old shoreline quarter

Built into Monot, one of Beirut's old commercial streets, ZUR studios & suites was set up as a serviced apart-hotel for both short and long stays. The building holds six suite types, each named for a mood rather than a number: Shore, at 44 square metres with hints of seaside blue; Deco, done in bolder, sharper tones; Slate, Pastel, Earth and the 90-square-metre Peak, which alone runs to three private balconies. Every suite comes with a full kitchen. Rooms have built-in safes, satellite TV and fibre internet. On the ground floor, the bar and bistro opens onto a terrace facing the neighbourhood, serving coffee through the day and cocktails into the evening on a no-reservation basis. Room service runs until 11pm. The address sits close to Beirut's downtown and to the coastline that shaped the old city's edge, so guests can walk to the water within minutes of leaving reception. Parking is underground and free, and security and concierge run around the clock. Laundry, taxi hire and a private chauffeur can be arranged on request, along with babysitting and cooking classes through the in-house Kitchen Lab. It suits a working stay as easily as a short city break, with a desk in the larger suites and daily cleaning throughout. Check-in is kept quick, express in and out, for guests moving between meetings and the terrace downstairs.
