Set on a ridge above the Ongava plains on a thirty-thousand-hectare private reserve, Little Ongava sits at the western boundary of Etosha National Park in northern Namibia. Three thatched villas stretch along a wooden boardwalk. Each villa has an air-conditioned bedroom, a private plunge pool, an outdoor shower, and a sala with fireplace, minibar, and viewing deck. The en-suite bathroom holds a bathtub, twin vanity basins, and both indoor and outdoor showers.
The main lodge overlooks a waterhole below the camp. An open deck allows for meals under the sky. A dedicated guide and vehicle serve guests at Little Ongava exclusively. Day and night game drives track lion, black rhino, white rhino, and black-faced impala across the reserve. Walking safaris with an experienced guide approach white rhino on foot when conditions allow. Hides overlook waterholes frequented by plains game and predators. Full-day and half-day excursions run into Etosha National Park, where the salt pan and perennial springs draw high densities of wildlife.
The Ongava Visitor Centre displays geological and ecological information on the region. Laundry service and internet access are complimentary. The lodge accepts Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.
