Visitors explore winding trails that pass lakes, mountains, and varied vegetation unique to this southernmost region. The park includes Lapataia Bay, the terminus of the Pan-American Highway. Walks range in length and difficulty, offering views of the local landscape’s diverse colours and terrain. Access is via National Highway No. 3, covering twenty-one kilometres from the park entrance to Lapataia Bay. The trails provide a natural setting for observing the region’s characteristic flora and fauna.
