4 Rivers
4 Rivers Camp sits beside the Tsum Tsum River in the Kwara Private Concession, within the northern Okavango Delta. The camp holds sole access to a large tract of the concession's western reaches — an area that only welcomed its first guests in 2023. Across the river, a permanent lagoon separates the camp from Maboa Island; hippos are a constant presence on the water, and elephants cross the river within view of the verandahs.
Nine en-suite meru tents are raised on stilts along the riverbank and connected to the main area by a raised boardwalk. Each tent has a lounge area, indoor and outdoor showers, a verandah, and a fan. One is arranged for families — two linked tents, with the children's side slightly smaller than the main tent. The main area holds a dining room, bar, lounge, and safari shop.
Where the Delta's waterways meet open plains and tree-covered islands, wildlife is varied: African wild dogs, lions, leopards, and a wide range of plains game move through the area. Guided nature walks run year-round. Game drives go off-road and can continue after dark, improving both sightings and photography. Mokoro excursions are seasonal, subject to water levels. Scenic and helicopter flights are also available.
Access is by light aircraft; an airport shuttle is included in the stay.
