African Bush Camps Lolebezi

Lolebezi sits directly on the Zambezi River inside Lower Zambezi National Park in Zambia, a large protected area where elephant herds, wild dog packs, and leopards move through the concession. The lodge holds six suites: four Luxury Signature Suites and two Luxury Family Suites, each with a private plunge pool facing the river, a bathtub, marble vanities, and both indoor and outdoor showers. The two family suites connect across a private walkway and sleep two bedrooms. A separate villa option takes the whole unit on an exclusive-use basis and includes a private vehicle and guide.

The main activities run on and beside the water. Game drives go out in open four-wheel-drive vehicles during the early morning and late afternoon, when animals are most active along the river edge. Guided walking safaris cover the same ground on foot. On the water, you can canoe the Zambezi, join a sunset river cruise, or fish on a catch-and-release basis. Birders find African fish eagle, saddle-billed stork, African skimmer, and Narina trogon in the area.

Back at the lodge, facilities include a pool, a spa, and a gym. A children's programme called the Ngwana Club runs nature walks, cooking classes, traditional storytelling, and arts and crafts for families. Complimentary airport transfers and laundry are included in the stay.
