Guests arrange night safaris with a naturalist across the property's bordering jungle or e-bike rides through adjacent villages from Aliya Resort & Spa, set below Sigiriya Rock in Sri Lanka's Cultural Triangle. The resort houses deluxe rooms, wooden chalets and suites distributed across gardens that separate cultivated paddy fields from the jungle edge. Each deluxe room measures 52 m² and opens onto a balcony facing either gardens or Sigiriya Rock; some include an Ofuro tub in place of a standard bathtub. Wooden chalets stand at the jungle border, constructed from repurposed shipping pallets, and each measures 98 m². Suites span 142 m² with a master bedroom, secondary queen bedroom, two private bathrooms, and a private pool overlooking a walled garden; a jacuzzi and home-theatre system are standard.

The infinity pool aligns its edge with the Lion's Rock across paddy fields. A spa offers Ayurveda treatments in a separate pavilion. Guided experiences include dawn birdwatching trails, cooking demonstrations with a garden walk, pottery-making sessions, visits to a paper-recycling centre, and sunrise yoga at the adjacent Ayurvie wellness facility. You can watch sunrise from Pidurangala Rock followed by breakfast beside Thalkote Lake, or book a hot-air balloon launch at dawn. Rangers lead night safaris into the surrounding forest to track nocturnal species. The concierge arranges visits to Ritigala Buddhist Monastery, a nature reserve an hour north, or to the Archaeological Museum and Sigiri Art Gallery within Sigiriya's grounds. Three restaurants operate on-site.
