Anantara Bophut Koh Samui Resort

Anantara Bophut sits on a stretch of Bophut Beach on the north shore of Koh Samui, facing the Gulf of Thailand. The resort was designed by Bill Bensley, whose tropical gardens run down toward the beach beside Fisherman's Cove. The architecture draws on southern Thai forms and materials, and the gardens are laid out to complement the working character of the cove rather than screen it.

The infinity pool looks out over the Gulf. The north shore is generally sheltered, which makes the water calm enough for watersports including windsurfing and sailing.
