Morning Balloon Safari (additional cost)
Sunrise over the Mara, seen from a balloon
Skip to product information
A hot-air balloon lifts off at first light, drifting over the Masai Mara Reserve as the sun comes up. From above, the terrain unfolds: the Mara River, swamps, forest patches and open savanna, with wildlife visible on the ground below. Flight paths follow the wind rather than a fixed route, so the ground crew tracks the balloon and meets it at landing. Once down, guests sit to a champagne breakfast laid out on the open plains. It is an additional-cost activity booked through the camp, offering a different vantage point on the same landscape covered by game drives and walks.
