Community bike ride (Additional Cost)

A guided cycle from the lodge into Mayoka, a village near Lake Manyara. Guests are driven to the starting point, given a bicycle, and led along a route through the settlement, with chances to meet local residents, among them members of the Mang'ati, a nomadic pastoralist community. The path continues towards the lake shore, where waterbirds are often visible. Those who prefer not to cycle can cover the same ground on foot with a guide instead. Groups are capped at fourteen people, and the outing costs extra on top of the lodge rate.
