Game drives at Nxabega cover a private concession in the Okavango Delta, where few other vehicles compete for a sighting. Guides drive sensitively off-road, bringing guests close to elephant, buffalo, lion and other wildlife without disturbing them. Drives continue into the evening as night drives, when leopard and serval become active and lion often hunt, sometimes turning up a kill in progress. &Beyond's trained guides tailor the pace to guest interest, whether that means tracking a particular species or lingering at a sighting, and explain the animals' behaviour and the region's vegetation along the way. Some guides can identify individual animals and recount their history.
