Game Drives (included)

Two game drives a day, one at dawn and one in late afternoon that runs on past dark. Phinda's guides are trained to track the Big Five along with the reserve's noted cheetah and black rhino populations, and several resident lion prides. Guides ask about your interests beforehand, whether that means following one species or lingering longer at each sighting, and point out vegetation and animal behaviour along the way. In some cases they can identify individual animals and recount their history. The drives cover Phinda Private Game Reserve's varied terrain in Zululand, with sightings shaped by season and habitat.
