A Night Under the Stars (additional cost)

An overnight extension to the afternoon game drive, ending not back at the lodge but at a clearing set up for sleeping outside. Beds are made up with warm duvets, blankets and mosquito nets, arranged around a campfire where dinner is cooked over the open fire. Guests watch the sunset from their chairs, eat by firelight, and fall asleep listening to the sounds of the bush at night. An armed guard stays on watch through the night for safety. It is a simple, exposed way to spend a night at Phinda, with none of the usual room walls between guest and wilderness.
