andBeyond Sandibe Okavango Safari Lodge

Sandibe sits where the Santantadibe Channel edges a private concession bordering Moremi Game Reserve — a position chosen for the game-rich grassy plains that open up on the Moremi side and for the year-round water that holds wildlife to the channel. The lodge's twelve suites are raised into the tree canopy, each looking over the Delta, with a private plunge pool, outdoor shower, and fireplace. Two of the twelve are interleading family suites, each with its own ensuite bathroom and plunge pool, accommodating two adults and two children.

The concession covers two hundred and seventy square kilometres, traversed twice daily in open safari vehicles with a ranger and tracker. A private vehicle with dedicated ranger and tracker can be arranged, letting you set your own drive times and stay as long as you like at a sighting. Game walks go out on foot through the same concession. Helicopter scenic flights are available for a broader view of the Delta.

The main lodge structure is raised above the landscape and holds a bar, restaurant, interactive kitchen, and an interpretive naturalist library. Covered nooks within the structure allow for private dining away from the main table, and meals can be served outside after dark. A separate massage sala on the property offers treatments using African botanical oils and shea butter. Credit card facilities are available on site.
