Anuraga Palace
The white haveli architecture is traditional Rajasthani stonework and arches. The property stands on Ranthambore Fort Road in Sawai Madhopur, two kilometres from the railway station and 170 kilometres south-east of Jaipur. Forty-four heritage rooms, two junior suites, and four themed suites overlook lawns or the central courtyard. Premier rooms measure 370 square feet and open onto private balconies facing green space. Themed suites take their names from regional flora and include separate living rooms and dining areas. Each room holds air conditioning, a flat-screen television, minibar, tea and coffee facilities, and an en-suite bathroom with rain shower. Basant restaurant serves Rajasthani, Punjabi, Chinese, and international dishes in an indoor dining room finished in warm earth tones. Malhar café and bar occupy the central courtyard between the pool and main building. Hindol rooftop bar overlooks the Aravalli hills. The family operates Shabri Organics, an organic farm 20 minutes from the hotel that supplies produce to the kitchens and offers guided tours ending in a village-style lunch. The spa provides massage therapies using natural oils in a treatment room designed around traditional Indian wellness principles. A swimming pool, fitness area, and 22,000 square feet of event space occupy the grounds. The concierge arranges safari permits for Ranthambore National Park and transfers from Jaipur International Airport, a drive of three and a half hours.
