Arriving through a private entrance on Harrismith Street, guests reach one of three self-catering cottages or a smaller annex room set within the main house, all within the same Makhanda address. Each cottage runs its own kitchen. Cottage I has a separate main bedroom, a second twin room and a full bathroom with shower and bath, its three-quarter sleeper couch stretching capacity to five guests sharing. Cottage II has been recently renovated, air-conditioned, with a kitchenette that runs to an air fryer and electric frying pan alongside the usual kettle and toaster. Cottage III faces the garden and pool, its bedroom windows catching the morning light, though the lounge guest must pass through the main bedroom to reach the en-suite bathroom. The Annex suits a single traveller on a tighter budget: a queen bed, a desk and chair, a wet-room bathroom, and semi-self-catering kit rather than a full kitchen. A fruit bowl, filter coffee and cereal are left standard in every unit, with a hot breakfast available on request. Outside, a pool, a braai area and a children's play space sit alongside secured parking. Between the three cottages and the annex, the property sleeps up to fifteen guests. It reads less like a hotel than a set of private houses sharing one gate.
