Auberge Daniella

Auberge Daniella sits on Main Road in Franschhoek, in a restored homestead with a garden, pool deck, and views across to the Drakenstein Mountains. Three suites spread between the main building and a separate unit beside the pool — the Huguenot and La Cotte suites are inside the homestead; the Lavender Suite sits opposite the pool. All three open onto the garden and pool area, and the main road is directly accessible from each, so the restaurants, wine estates, and shops of Franschhoek are on foot.

Each suite is air-conditioned in both the bedroom and lounge, furnished with a queen or twin/king bed, an en suite bathroom, a kitchenette with cooking equipment and a microwave, and a lounge and dining area. The Lavender Suite has a shower only; the other two have baths. Wi-Fi is complimentary throughout.

Every morning the property serves a cooked or lighter breakfast, with freshly baked bread among the items on offer. The kitchenettes let you self-cater as much or as little as you choose beyond that.

The pool deck and garden sit behind the homestead with the Middagkrans Mountains in the background. A veranda extends from the historic building, and both guided and self-guided walks are available from the property. Airport transfers can be arranged on request.
