Backadal Gård Bed & Breakfast
Six-room B&B outside Ystad, five kilometres from town by bike
Skip to product information
Set between paddocks and open fields outside Ystad, Backadal Gård occupies a classic three-wing Skåne farmhouse, its low profile turned against the west wind. The building once housed horses; Anna and Palle converted it into a bed and breakfast, keeping the working farm's calm and adding six guest rooms, each with its own bathroom. Ystad lies five kilometres off, close enough to cycle or walk, and the farm rents out bikes for the ride in. Breakfast runs as a buffet in the courtyard, with warm dishes, fruit and juice, and there is a garden terrace for the evening. You can watch the sun rise and set from the same spot on the grounds, since the fields around stay open on every side. Free parking and an electric charging point sit by the entrance. Check-in starts at 3pm, with self check-in available from 6pm. The property is currently listed for sale, brewery and outbuildings included, though the B&B continues to take bookings in the meantime.
