Bamba Tram
The Bamba Tram departs Victoria Falls station on a ninety-minute return run through Zambezi National Park, ending on the suspension bridge that spans the Batoka Gorge. From the bridge you look down into the gorge where the Zambezi moves below, and across to the spray rising from Victoria Falls. The track passes through the park rather than around it, so wildlife can appear alongside the line throughout the journey.
A second route heads in the opposite direction, following the Masuwe River through the Chamabonda area, which borders Zambezi National Park and carries a substantial mix of wildlife. Both routes stop at Jafuta siding for refreshments before turning back.
Sunrise runs depart at six-fifteen in the morning from Victoria Falls station. They are confirmed with a minimum of six passengers and are subject to season — check timing when booking. The tram also runs a dinner option: a forty-minute ride into the bush followed by a three-course meal served outdoors at a lantern-lit railway siding. Departure times for the dinner run are seasonally dependent and confirmed at the time of booking.
All three options board from Victoria Falls Train Station.
