Barbuda Belle Luxury Beach Hotel
Turquoise water laps the sand at Cedar Tree Point, where mangroves fringe Codrington Lagoon and frigate birds bank low over the shallows. Barbuda Belle is a family-owned hotel of eight beachfront bungalows, each with a private balcony facing the bay and its surrounding mangroves. It is small by design. Bungalow interiors run to 393 sqft, with wood floors, a four-poster king bed under white voile drapes, and an en suite bathroom stocked with L'Occitane products. The balcony extends into an outdoor living and dining area, with its own shower open to the sea air. Power comes from a solar system, and the hotel closes each summer, from June through October. The Mangrove restaurant, set in the clubhouse, serves lunch and dinner from an à la carte menu built on local seafood; room and beach service are available for guests who prefer their own balcony or the sand itself. Rates include kayaks, a guided mangrove tour, snorkelling gear, Hobie cats, and a boat trip to the Frigate Bird Sanctuary. Getting there takes commitment: flights land in Antigua first, then a short hop by air or a longer run by sea to Barbuda, where the hotel itself is reachable only by boat. A team meets every arrival at the dock and manages transfers both ways.
