Bayete Guest Lodge

Bayete Guest Lodge sits on Manyika Road in a quiet residential part of Victoria Falls town, 2.6 km from the falls centre. Thirty rooms are spread through tropical gardens across five room types: Classic King or Twin, Classic Triple, Executive King or Twin, Executive Triple, and a Honeymoon Suite, plus a separate Family Cottage that sleeps up to five.

Classic rooms have en-suite shower bathrooms and the standard range of amenities — air conditioning, mosquito nets, tea and coffee, wi-fi. Executive rooms step up to larger bathrooms with a Victorian bath alongside the shower; two of them connect through an internal door, useful for families who want adjoining space. The Honeymoon Suite centres on a large Victorian bath set against a heavy railway sleeper.

At the middle of the property is a teardrop pool. The Bayete Boma and Bar wraps around it — an open-air dining area serving a full English breakfast each morning, with lunch and dinner prepared on request. The kitchen works with locally sourced ingredients; group bookings can arrange a BBQ.

The lodge does not run its own activities, but the travel desk arranges bookings across the full range available in the area: game drives, scenic helicopter flights, river cruises, elephant-back safaris, canopy tours, canoeing, and fishing. An airport shuttle is available on request.
