Borgo della Meliana occupies a renovated 13th-century complex along the Via Francigena, the medieval pilgrimage route crossing the hills between Val d'Elsa and Val d'Egola near Gambassi Terme. The property offers 21 apartments and independent cottages, each air-conditioned and fitted with satellite television, internet connection, safe, and dishwasher. Every unit carries the same design approach yet differs in layout. Two swimming pools — one including a children's section and whirlpool — sit within the grounds. The borgo lies 20 minutes by road from San Gimignano and Volterra, 50 minutes from Florence Airport, Pisa Airport, and Siena.
