Bush Safari

A two-hour drive through the Klein Karoo's bushveld in an open game-viewing vehicle, led by guides trained to cover more than wildlife: birds and plant species get equal attention. Animals on the reserve include hippo, giraffe, eland, zebra, buffalo and springbok. Midway through, the vehicle stops at a scenic lookout point for a refreshment break, with 360-degree views over the reserve and the Swartberg Mountains. Bush Safaris run for both lodge guests and outside visitors, and can be paired with the lodge's elephant or lion experiences as part of an activity-day package with light lunch included.
