The Spa @ Buffelsdrift Game Lodge

Four resident therapists run this spa overlooking the lodge's lake, where hippos and birdlife carry on within sight of the treatment rooms. Soft music plays as guests choose from a menu that includes African-style hand and foot care, back, neck and shoulder work, a full-body massage using warmed sand, an exfoliating scrub, plus manicures and pedicures. Treatment spaces come with air conditioning, a heater, and a deck or verandah for lingering afterwards, along with a bath, mini bar, and dressing gowns.
