Hiking / Mountainbiking in the surroundings of the farm

Public roads around the farm lead out through El Porvenir, a stretch of countryside where the walk itself doubles as a look at rural life in this part of Costa Rica. Birds and wildlife turn up along the way, and from certain points the trail opens onto views of Volcán Orosí in Costa Rica and, further off, Volcán Concepción above Lake Nicaragua. The same network of roads and routes suits mountainbiking, with paths of varying length threading through the surrounding land. No guide is required; you simply set out from the farm on foot or on a bike.
