Camp Silwane

Camp Silwane sits inside Silwane Conservancy in Matabeleland North, Zimbabwe, close to Hwange National Park. The camp holds ten deluxe safari tents, each with a private indoor bathroom, queen bed, mosquito netting, and a fireplace for cold nights. A central area with a pool and lounge gives you a place to sit between activities — and the waterhole in front of camp draws wildlife on its own schedule.

Game drives run into Hwange National Park during the day and around the conservancy after dark, using one of three vehicles. The camp guarantees every guest a window seat, and groups can arrange a private vehicle. Walking safaris are guided by a professional guide and can be arranged on request. There is also a game-viewing hide on site, and self-guided walks are available for those who want to move at their own pace.

Food is served in the camp restaurant: a full brunch, afternoon high tea, and a three-course dinner each day, with vegetarian options available. The kitchen draws on local ingredients and cooks on site.

The conservancy sits in Matabeleland North Province, near the small settlement of Elandshoek. A private vehicle transfer can be arranged for arrival and departure.
