Canonnier Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa occupies a peninsula at Pointe aux Canonniers on the northern tip of Mauritius, set above the coastline with views across to the small islands offshore. The property covers seventeen acres of tropical garden, and visible within those gardens are the remains of a fortification, its cannons still in place, along with an old lighthouse — the site has a documented military history and the layout preserves it.

The resort holds two hundred and eighty-three rooms across several categories: standard and superior rooms in garden-facing or sea-facing configurations, family duplexes that sleep up to four, two-bedroom apartments of seventy square metres with en-suite bathrooms and a terrace dining area, and a suite overlooking a stretch of intimate bays. Rooms use light woods and neutral tones; all have a terrace or balcony, air conditioning, and a minibar.

Three restaurants serve the property, including Navigator, which looks out over the northern islands. The spa occupies six treatment rooms built into the branches of a bicentenary banyan tree. For families, there is a kids' club for children aged three to eleven and a baby care area for infants under three, as well as a teen club. Water sports — kayaking, windsurfing, canoeing, water skiing, sailing — are included in the stay, and a diving centre operates within the grounds. The miniature golf course replicates the last nine holes of Mont Choisy Le Golf, designed by former professional golfer Peter Matkovich. Guests also have privileged access to two full eighteen-hole par-seventy-two courses: Paradis Golf Club and Mont Choisy Le Golf. An optional all-inclusive package is available.
