Cape Beach Villa

Long Beach runs flat and wide just beyond the garden wall, and Cape Beach Villa opens straight onto it. Sand, not a security gate, is the last thing between the pool deck and the sea. The villa holds five en-suite bedrooms, each fitted with air-conditioning, pure cotton linen and a private bath or shower, some with outside showers and balconies looking toward the water. A modern kitchen and a communal dining area anchor the house, alongside a TV room and a fireplace for the cooler months. Escape + Explore hosts the stay, arranging meals, laundry and the daily rhythm so guests can spend the day at the tidal pool or walking the sand toward Chapmans Peak. Décor stays plain and coastal: hand-embroidered curtains, South African art, and a restrained palette that leaves the beach to do the talking. You can hear the surf from the terrace at low tide, when Long Beach stretches widest and the kite surfers work the wind further along the bay.
