Casa del Mare Amfora

Facing the Bay of Kotor from a quiet stretch of shoreline in Orahovac, Boutique Hotel Casa del Mare Amfora occupies a low-rise building opened in 2009 by a couple who grew up in Montenegro. Ten suites spread across the floors. Each holds a balcony that commands either the bay or the mountains that rise behind the village. Suites include air conditioning, coffee and tea, and bathrooms stocked with regional amenities. Selected units face the water directly; others look inland toward forested slopes. A wellness centre on the lower level houses a hot tub and sauna. Sunbeds line the private beach a few steps from the entrance.

Rooftop restaurant Mirta serves New Balkan Cuisine — a collaboration with chef Vanja Puškar that fuses Mediterranean and Balkan ingredients into dishes designed for sharing. The menu draws on local sourcing and avoids replication of standard regional fare. Mirta operates evenings only; breakfast is served in a ground-floor dining room or delivered to suites on request. The bay's calm water suits swimming and paddling from late spring through early autumn. Orahovac is a working fishing village with minimal commercial development. Kotor lies 15 kilometres northeast; Tivat airport is 13 kilometres west. Secure parking is available on site, and the hotel arranges airport transfers and car rental on request.
