Chamabondo Tented Camp - Zambezi National - Victoria Falls

Chamabondo Tented Camp sits on the edge of the Chamabondo vlei, a natural waterhole inside Zambezi National Park, Zimbabwe. Wildlife comes to the water in front of the camp, and Victoria Falls is close enough to reach without a long transfer. The camp holds twelve tented suites, each with a king-size bed — or two three-quarter beds on request — its own bathroom, and a private deck facing the vlei. From that deck you can watch what arrives at the water without moving from your chair.

Activities run in three directions: game drives into the park, guided nature walks, and bird-watching across the vlei and surrounding woodland. The wetland edge draws birds in particular numbers, and the broader Zambezi National Park carries a wide range of larger wildlife. A swimming pool serves quieter afternoons when the heat settles over the camp.

The location covers two kinds of visit: a wildlife stay inside the park, and easy access to Victoria Falls and the Zambezi River for guests who want both. The town of Victoria Falls is nearby, which makes the camp straightforward to reach at the start or end of a broader Zimbabwe itinerary.
