Chobe National Park

This is a mobile safari camp — a complete, self-contained camp that moves through Chobe National Park with a private group. The entire operation travels with you: furnished sleeping tents, private bathrooms, a kitchen, a mess tent, camp staff, a chef, a guide, and vehicles reserved for the group alone. No other guests share the camp or the vehicles.

Each sleeping tent has its own walled bathroom attached to the rear, fitted with a bucket shower and washbasin. Inside the tent you will find quality bed linen, towels in three sizes, a canvas wardrobe, LED lighting, drinking water, and mosquito repellent. The mess tent is where lunch is served; dinner is three courses eaten outside under open sky. A fully stocked bar travels with the camp, and throughout the day there are cold drinks, hot drinks, and drinking water on hand.

Mornings begin around the fire. Tracks left by animals overnight, and sounds heard during the night, help the guide plan the day's game drives through the surrounding bush. Evenings return to the same fire with drinks and a chance to go over what was seen during the day.

Chobe National Park sits in Botswana's North-West District and holds one of Africa's largest elephant populations along the Chobe River. The mobile format means the camp can reposition within the park to follow the wildlife rather than waiting for it to arrive at a fixed location.
