Clarendon Bantry Bay
The Clarendon sits on Kloof Road in Bantry Bay, on Cape Town's Atlantic Seaboard, with sea views from the upper rooms and a pool terrace where you can take lunch or sit with the ocean in front of you. Saunders Rock Beach is a short walk down the slope; the V&A Waterfront and Table Mountain are a few minutes by car.
The hotel has six room categories, from standard king or twin rooms with en-suite bath and shower to premium suites with a separate lounge and dining area. Superior and premium rooms face the sea. All rooms include air conditioning, a complimentary minibar, cotton linen, bathrobes, heated towel rails, and a safe. Full English breakfast is included in every category, served in the dining room or on your balcony. Lunch and dinner can be arranged on request.
On site there is a bar, a pool, a spa offering massages, and a high-tea service. The building runs on full power backup, so load-shedding does not affect the stay. Off-street parking is complimentary, and an airport shuttle can be arranged. The property operates twenty-four-hour security.
The hotel is malaria-free, and the Atlantic Seaboard is generally sheltered from the south-easter that buffets other parts of the Cape Peninsula in summer.
