Constance Tsarabanjina
Constance Tsarabanjina sits on Nosy Tsarabanjina, a small island in the Mitsio Archipelago off Madagascar's northwest coast, roughly forty miles from Nosy Be Airport. The lodge holds twenty-five beach villas, divided between the north and south shores. Each covers forty-seven square metres, is palm-thatched, and furnished in a Malagasy style with a private terrace, air conditioning, and two loungers on the beach outside. The property operates on an all-inclusive basis.
The restaurant sits directly on the beach, sand underfoot, and serves Malagasy cuisine alongside fresh seafood. The bar faces the lagoon and also has a sand floor; cocktails and other drinks are available through the day and night. Both are a short walk from any villa on the island.
In the water, the lodge runs a PADI dive centre — called Blue Wave — offering courses from introductory to advanced level. Snorkelling gear is provided for your entire stay, and snorkelling by boat is also available. On land, a guided trail crosses the island with views over the Mitsio Archipelago. Excursions by boat run to the Four Brothers Islands, the basalt columns of Nosy Mitsio, and Nosy Komba, where lemurs can be seen.
Transfer from Nosy Be Airport is by road to the boat embarkation point, then by boat to the island — sixty to ninety minutes on the water depending on conditions. Transfers are collective and require forty-eight hours advance booking.
