Visit to Samburu manyatta showcasing traditional life

This cultural activity involves a visit to neighbouring Samburu homesteads, or manyattas, near Elewana Kifaru House. The traditional homes are constructed by women using cattle dung and grass. Visitors are guided by Samburu families who explain their way of life and offer local handicrafts for sale. The experience requires a minimum of two guests and provides insight into the local community bordering the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy. It is arranged as an additional activity separate from game drives and walking safaris around the lodge.
