An eight to nine hour outing from Damara Mopane Lodge in search of the desert-adapted elephants that roam this part of Damaraland, led by a local guide who reads their tracks and behaviour. The day also stops at a Damara Cultural Village, where guests learn about the customs and history of the community living alongside the wildlife. Coffee, tea, snacks, a light lunch and drinks are provided, along with all entrance fees, and the vehicle sets off at seven in the morning. Not suitable for children under twelve.
