Daytur Dubai Mussandam Sea Cruise Dibba
From Dibba, on the border of the UAE and Oman, you board a wooden Arabian dhow and spend a full day on the Musandam coast. The Hajjar Mountains meet the sea along this stretch at steep angles, forming deep inlets with near-vertical rock faces on either side. The dhow moves along the shoreline past natural caves, small coves, traditional fishing settlements, and Ziggy Beach.
The day has a loose structure. At the fishing villages you can drop a line over the side, or go into the water for a swim or a snorkelling session beneath the cliffs. A speedboat and a banana boat ride are both part of the trip at no additional charge — two faster ways to cover the water if you want a change of pace.
Lunch is a traditional Arabic buffet served on board, with unlimited soft drinks throughout the day. The boat returns to Dibba by around four in the afternoon.
Dibba sits roughly two hours from Dubai by road, which makes this a workable day trip from most UAE bases. The departure point is in Dibba Al Fujairah, the UAE side of the town.
