Dzimbahwe Guest Lodge

Dzimbahwe Guest Lodge sits in a quiet part of central Victoria Falls, close to the game corridor and three kilometres from the falls themselves. It is a small, independently run property — eighteen rooms in total — and it works as a practical base for guests who want to be near the town and its activities without staying on the main tourist strip.

Room categories cover most group sizes: double, twin, triple, family rooms (two rooms connected by an interior door, sleeping up to five), king rooms, and self-contained apartments with a separate kitchen, lounge, and two bedrooms. All rooms are air-conditioned and include Wi-Fi, a fridge, en-suite bathroom, and tea and coffee. The apartments and some double rooms have a private veranda.

The lodge has a pool, a bar, a restaurant serving lunches and dinners, and a barbeque area. An activity and travel desk on site can arrange most of what Victoria Falls offers: game drives, helicopter flights, sunset cruises on the upper Zambezi, elephant encounters, white-water rafting, and guided walks. The two-and-a-half-hour sunset cruise on the upper Zambezi includes snacks, drinks, and transfers from the lodge, with good chances of seeing hippo, crocodile, and waterbirds along the river.

Airport transfers and foreign exchange are both available at the property.
