Meals at Eagle Island Lodge follow the rhythm of the wildlife programme rather than a fixed dining room clock. A light bite and hot drink arrive before dawn departures, followed by tea or coffee out on the water or trail mid-morning. The main midday meal is served under cover or in open air overlooking the Okavango, between roughly half past ten and half past one. Afternoon tea comes around four, with drinks and snacks offered again on the evening outing, before dinner at around eight. Chefs also pack picnics for guests heading out on game drives or mokoro trips.
