Edsa Shangri-La Manila

Edsa Shangri-La sits in Ortigas Center, the business and commercial district of Metro Manila on the Mandaluyong side of EDSA. The hotel holds six hundred and thirty-one rooms and suites arranged across two wings: the Tower Wing, which faces the city skyline, and the Tropical Garden Wing, which looks onto the gardens that run through the property. Rooms in both wings carry contemporary interiors with Asian detailing; the difference is mainly in the view — glass and high-rises on one side, palms and greenery on the other.

The gardens are substantial enough to give the property a different atmosphere from its immediate surroundings on one of Manila's busiest arterial roads. A free-form swimming pool sits within them, along with a tennis court.

The health club runs a full range of exercise equipment alongside a dedicated functional training zone — the hotel notes this was the first facility of its kind in Metro Manila, built around a modular multi-station training rig made by Life Fitness. Certified trainers are available in the facility. Hydrotherapy facilities are also part of the health club floor.

Ortigas Center is well connected by road, and the MRT line running along EDSA stops close to the hotel.
