Entim Camp

Entim Main Camp sits inside the Masai Mara reserve in Kenya's Rift Valley, with twelve en-suite tented suites built on raised wooden decks directly above the Mara River. From the deck of each tent you look out over the river and the plains beyond — the same water that draws elephant, hippopotamus, crocodile, and the wildebeest that cross here in large numbers during the migration.

The tents are canvas but comfortably fitted: pure cotton linen, a private shower, fireplace, fan, verandah, and a safe. Tea and coffee are in the room; Wi-Fi and charging points are available throughout the camp. The main camp shares the Entim concession with a separate private camp of seven tents and one family unit set deeper into the reserve along the river.

On site you have a restaurant, bar, library, and a spa. Guided game drives and game walks run both on the concession and into the wider reserve, covering the Big Five and more than the usual range of bird species that the riverine habitat draws in. Guided walks cover the same ground on foot, led by rangers who know the terrain.

The camp is listed as eco-friendly and is malaria-free. Both English and Swahili are spoken by the staff. Secure parking and laundry are available, and private vehicle transfers can be arranged.
