Etosha Safari Campsite Gondwana Collection Namibia

Etosha Safari Camp sits on the C38, ten kilometres south of Andersson Gate — the entrance to Etosha National Park — which makes it a straightforward base for game drives into one of southern Africa's largest wildlife parks. The camp is part of the Gondwana Collection and runs at an informal, family-friendly pitch.

Fifty chalets are spread among mopane trees in three configurations: twin rooms with two single beds, triple rooms with three beds in an open-plan layout, and family rooms fitted with a double bunk bed suitable for two adults and two children under thirteen. Each chalet has an en suite shower, air-conditioning, a small veranda, mosquito nets, and tea and coffee facilities. A cold-water swimming pool, restaurant, bar, curio shop, and secure parking complete the main lodge. Wifi is available, and twelve-hour overnight security runs from early evening to morning.

Adjacent to the chalets, a separate campsite offers twenty pitches on lawn under mopane shade, each with power points and braai facilities. Shared ablutions serve the campsite, and campers have access to the lodge restaurant and bar.

For game drives, you can join a guided half-day or full-day drive into Etosha in a safari vehicle, or enter the park independently through Andersson Gate and drive at your own pace between the park's waterholes and rest camps. A guided bush walk of two to three and a half kilometres through the mopane around the property covers animal tracks, plants, and birds. Laundry service is available at the lodge.
