Self-Drive Safari through Etosha National Park
Etosha at your own pace, own vehicle
From Anderson Gate, guests drive themselves into Etosha National Park, setting their own route and schedule. Roads link the main rest camps, Okaukuejo, Halali, and Namutoni, passing salt pans, open grassland and waterholes where elephant, giraffe, lion and springbok gather. Each camp has facilities for a break, a meal or photographs, so the day can be split into manageable stages. Drivers can linger at a waterhole or push on, stopping only at marked picnic areas along the way. Park entry fees are separate from the lodge stay. It suits travellers who prefer their own timing over a guided vehicle.
