Angled toward a replica castle that anchors the grounds, Bahia Principe Explore Legend occupies a site in Punta Cana's Arena Gorda–Macao corridor one kilometre inland from the beach. Rooms hold either one king-size bed or two doubles, a living area, and a balcony. Castle-view categories face the central structure. All units include air-conditioning, satellite television, a minibar, and coffee-making equipment. The castle itself serves as the stage for evening shows combining visual effects and acrobatics.

A theatre hosts nightly performances. The property lies 25 kilometres from Punta Cana airport, 90 kilometres from La Romana, and 220 kilometres from Santo Domingo.
