Afternoon and night drives with expert guides

Guests leave Flatdogs Camp mid-afternoon for drives when wildlife becomes more active. The guide stops at a viewpoint to watch the sunset and offers traditional drinks. After dusk, the vehicle’s spotlight reveals nocturnal animals and birds, such as honeybadgers, civets, porcupines, and owls. The drives use a 4x4 Toyota Land Cruiser with a spotter managing the light. Groups are limited to six guests. These safaris return before the park gate closes at 8pm and provide an opportunity to see species rarely visible by day.
