Forest Chem Chem is a small, exclusive-use tented camp on the Tarangire River near Mdori, in Tanzania's Manyara Region. The camp holds four units — three vintage-style double tents and one family suite — and is booked as a whole, taking up to eight adults and two children. There are no other guests.

Each double tent has a king-size bed convertible to twins, an en-suite bathroom with outside shower, a verandah, mosquito nets, and a complimentary minibar. The family suite is double-sized. A pool and a spa are on site.

Every booking includes a private guide and a ten-seat open safari vehicle. Day drives go into the camp's own exclusive-use protected wildlife area or into Tarangire National Park; night drives are available within the private concession only. Two photography hides sit at the edge of watering holes used regularly by birds and larger wildlife. A baobab lookout deck serves as a sundowner platform. Hot air balloon flights and scenic helicopter flights can be arranged at additional cost.

Meals are communal by design. Lunch arrives as shared plates; dinner is a three-course set menu. A separate 'Ponya' menu — the word means 'to heal' in Swahili — draws on herbs grown in the camp's own garden. Bush dinners under a baobab tree, picnic hampers for full-day activities, and open-fire cooking sessions with the camp's chefs are all available.

Cultural visits to a nearby Maasai village and a Barabaig boma are offered off-site, along with a guided sunrise hike up Vilimia Vitatu Hill above the concession.
