Mount Gorongosa & Coffee Plantation Tour
Rainforest hike, waterfall swim, and shade-grown Arabica tasting
Skip to product information
This full-day excursion climbs Mount Gorongosa, a landscape distinct from the park's floodplains below, with forest paths, streams, and long views over the reserve. Guests walk to Murombodzi Falls and cool off in its clear pools before stopping for a picnic among the trees. The route continues to the Gorongosa Coffee Project, where farmers grow Arabica beneath forest canopy as part of an effort to rebuild the mountain's degraded slopes. The outing closes with a tasting of the coffee itself. It runs at an additional cost, separate from standard park activities.
