Evening drinks over the floodplain as light fades
Skip to product information
A late-afternoon pause at a chosen spot on the Gorongosa plains, timed to the fading light. Guides pick vantage points overlooking wide floodplains, hippo pools settling for the night, or the silhouette of Mount Gorongosa on the horizon. A mobile bar comes fully stocked, with homemade snacks prepared by the camp chefs. There is no fixed format beyond a drink and a view; the ritual is repeated most evenings, in a different spot each time, as the bush quietens and the sky turns gold, then dark.
